It has many names:  sealing my record, erasing my record, cleaning my record.  Whatever you want to call it, removing a past criminal conviction from one’s record can be accomplished.  Attorneys refer to this process as expungement.  Despite what you may have heard, expungement is not always possible for everyone.  Each situation is unique.  To determine if you are eligible for an expungement, many factors will have to be considered, such as:  the date of the arrest, date of conviction, the charge that is shown in the conviction record, and whether the charge is a misdemeanor or felony conviction.

To determine if sealing your record, or expungement is right for you, contact our Bay Area office to review your case.  Our attorneys are experienced in criminal record expungement and can get started on your case immediately.  If you are a military veteran and need help with a criminal record seal or expungement, please visit our Legal Services For Military Veterans page.
